Our rules
Groupo is for finding people who share your interests and making plans together. To keep it a good place, these rules apply to everyone.
Not allowed
- Being under 18, or pretending to be someone else.
- Harassment, threats, repeated insults, hate against a person or a group.
- Sending nudity or sexual content to someone who didn't ask for it, or sharing intimate images of a person without their consent.
- Any content that sexualises minors. We report it to the authorities.
- Scams, spam, selling illegal goods, fake accounts.
- Offensive profile photos, names, icons or group descriptions: these are the only things strangers can see.
Block and report
You can block someone at any time: they can't message you any more. You can report a person, a message, a group or a plan from the app. A report sends us the last 5 messages of that chat and nothing else. A person on our team reads them and decides.
The first message from someone you've never chatted with lands in Solicitudes (requests): you choose to accept, block or report.
What we do
Depending on how serious it is: a warning, a limit (for example no new groups for a while), a suspension or closing the account. Every decision comes with its reason. New accounts have limits, such as how many new people they can message a day.
Appeals
You can appeal a decision once, from the app. Another person on the team, not the one who made the first decision, looks at it again.
Reporting illegal content without an account
For illegal content anyone can see without an account (a group page, a name or a profile photo), email contacto@groupo.app with the link and the reason. We reply and tell you what we did.
